Kaitlyn graduated from Murdoch University in 2013 and has spent the past decade working primarily in emergency and critical care centres along Australia’s east coast.
Whilst working in emergency and critical care, Kaitlyn enjoyed the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine and the challenge of managing critically ill patients, but what she found most rewarding was seeing patients recover and be reunited with their families. At the request of her sidekick Frank the Border Terrier, she has now traded the long emergency shifts for a more sustainable beach lifestyle in Port Melbourne.
Kaitlyn has a special interest in ultrasound, emergency surgical procedures and the early detection and treatment of disease to improve long-term outcomes and quality of life for her patients. She strives to treat every pet she meets as if it were her own.
