Prior to undergoing an anaesthetic, all animals will receive a complete physical examination. With the proper use of safe, efficient and modern anaesthetic equipment and drugs, the possibility of an untoward anaesthetic reaction is unlikely.
During anaesthesia; respiration, heart rate and blood pressure are monitored continuously. We have a policy of appropriate analgesia (pain relief) to maintain the comfort and safety of our patients.
